Brisbane based artist, Jon Weber has now launched his solo exhibition up on the hill, featuring old and new works at No Comply Studios.
Weber’s works are based on modernist abstraction, inspired by one’s attachment to the new world; whilst raising concerns with the notions of perception. Weber’s exhibition, Converging Plains, launched on Friday, 1 August. This exhibition attracted many people to attend the opening night to view and admire his works. There are also many upcoming exhibitions this Friday night (8 August), including the Downland’s Art Exhibition, theGRID’s Lindeman Blue is the Colour of my Dreams by Fiona Cockfield, as well as Raygun Lab’s The Value of Nothing, by the MOP Projects of Sydney.
