Kusina, an Asian translation of the word kitchen, is the newest Asian restaurant to open its doors in Toowoomba, offering fresh and traditional dishes ranging from noodle soups to chargrilled classics.

Kusina Asian Grill opened in Ruthven Street last week and according to the owners, it is a happy place where great memories, love for food, magic and passion begins. “This is the soul of our restaurant which we want to share with our guests, not just by preparing great food and memories, but also allowing you to have a peek of our day-to-day operations inside the kitchen,” they said.

With carefully selected fresh ingredients, the Kusina Asian Grill owners take pride in their home made marinates and dipping sauces that are unique, fresh and tasty. The chargrill seals the flavour in all their speciality dishes, delivering more flavour than ever. Seafood favourites include paprika prawns and barramundi grilled, fried or steamed, while chicken or beef satay skewers are a must if you want the real Asian experience.

Other options include Gai Yang, a Thai-style overnight marinated chicken with lemongrass, garlic and soy sauce; Szechuan wings; pork belly and beef steak; plus a range of salads such as spicy seafood, grilled eggplant and salted duck egg.

Kusina Asian Grill is open from lunch seven days from 10.30am, dinner from Wednesday to Saturday and by reservation from Sunday to Tuesday.Β Find it at level one, 417 Ruthven Street above Australian Sports Nutrition.
