Enterprise Legal Qld has been named Regional/Suburban Law Firm of the Year at the 2018 Australian Law Awards hosted by Lawyers Weekly on Friday 31 August.
The 18th annual Australian Law Awards, in partnership with UNSW Law recognises the outstanding contribution of Australia’s top lawyers and legal firms across 33 categories. The category of Regional/Suburban Law Firm of the Year is open to any firm across Australia outside of a five kilometre radius of a capital city CBD. Enterprise Legal Qld Principal Legal Directors Peta Gray and Sharné Lategan are humbled by the award, having only started Enterprise Legal Qld just last year. “We are extremely proud to receive such recognition within our industry,” says Peta. “We are thrilled to represent Toowoomba on a national level. It is our aim to use this as an opportunity to shine the spotlight on the many amazing local businesses and organisations who we assist.”
Lawyers Weekly editor Emma Ryan says the Australian Law Awards is the country’s pinnacle legal event. “This year’s winners radiate an outstanding level of professionalism, dedication and drive to take the business of law to greater heights,” she says. “This includes the managing partners and general counsel to the barristers, legal scholars and young guns.”
