Masterchef celebrity Marion Grasby is bringing the taste of Asia to this year’s ‘Moree on a Plate’ food and wine festival, which features an array of appetising meals, expert cooking classes, and delicate wines all sourced from Moree’s local producers.
Marion, who found her success in season two of Masterchef, now lives in Thailand and has since published her own cookbooks and range of food products.
Although she keeps herself busy cooking and teaching throughout Asia, this has not kept her from staying in touch with local Aussie communities, as she explains to The Moree Champion.
“I’m super pumped to be heading to Moree on a Plate for a day of awesome food and entertainment. I’m looking forward to showcasing the fabulous produce from the North West while hosting some fun and interactive cooking demonstrations.”
“I can’t wait for a delicious day at Moree on a Plate! Great local producers, entertainment and food…what more could you ask for?!”
Every year since 2004 Moree on a Plate has been dishing up the best that North-West NSW has to offer in food and entertainment, and 2016 looks to deliver again with fan-favourite BBQ competitions, Bubble Muffin’s Kids Cooking, and live-music act The String Section.
The festival begins Saturday 7 May at 10am to 4pm.
