One of the new tutors taking part for the first time is ceramicist Peter Biddulph who will be teaching wheel throwing and decoration. Peter is a well-known ceramicist having received many awards nationally and internationally, including one from the Design Institute of Australia in 2006 for an installation titled vol Luminous.Β In 2011, he was invited to exhibit in the London Design Festival and in the 10th International Biennial of Ceramics, Manises, Spain.

Most classes are nearly full with many fully booked. There will be plenty to see during McGregor even for non-participants in the workshops including:Β Acoustic Guitar Spectacular with Michael Fix and Winter Night Markets.

The McGregor Winter Retreat Night Art and Craft Markets is an opportunity for tutors and artists from the McGregor Winter Arts Retreat to showcase and sell their original works. Visitors are invited to peruse and purchase authentic, one-off pieces created by talented artists from across Australia.
