Myke Mollard‘s new book Australian Outback Birds is out with his signature illustrations and engaging text that bring kids up close and personal with over 150 of Australia’s colourful and characterful outback birds, from our bush, national parks and coasts. The birds are beautifully drawn and accompanied by vividly descriptive text.
Myke is a children’s educator, illustrator, author, designer, and current-day eco-adventurer. He began his career in graphic design, branding management and producing TV commercials. He later found outlets for his passion for educating kids about the world around them, both in person in the classroom and online, and via his books which he writes and illustrates.
Myke’s books include An A-Z of Australian Bush Creatures (2008), Australia’s Endangered Bush Creatures (2022), Australia’s Dangerous Bush Creatures (2022), Australian Dinosaurs and Mega Beasts (2022), Australian Backyard Birds (2023) and Wildlife of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef (2023).
