The annual Goondiwindi Hawks Paddock Prelude was held on Saturday 23 March at Riddles Oval, Goondiwindi. The Paddock Prelude is the season launch for the Goondiwindi Hawks AFC. Speakers included the president Rob Mackenzie and Mayor Graeme Scheu. Brent Townsend was announced as 2019 captain, and Sam McNaughton and Joran Ryan were named vice captains.
