The Protea Place Women’s Support Centre raised $32,000 at its progressive dinner fundraiser at which guests dined in three locations throughout the CBD. Held on 19 September at the Burke & Wills Hotel, The Rock and Fitzy’s Toowoomba, 150 guests were served three-course meals with the opportunity to dress to the restaurant’s theme of the night while being entertained by live music. Amanda Dalton, the CEO of Protea Place, said, “It was a fun-filled night to raise awareness and vital funds with the three groups simultaneously moving from venue to venue.”
