What do you like most about the Downs region?
Amazingly friendly community who genuinely care about their neighbours and environment.
Who inspires you?
Abraham Lincoln. He led his people through Civil War and signed the Emancipation Proclamation, ending slavery. His conviction, humility and oratory skills made him one of the great leaders.
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern. Her authenticity as an atheist leader donning the hijab without thinking about the optics but simply because it is the right and respectful thing to do.
Mary Wollstonecraft. A writer and philosopher, she championed education and liberation for women.
Favourite foodie haunt in the Downs region?
Emeraude in Hampton — it’s local, fresh, ever changing and delicious.
