The Reds took down the side 31 to 20 in the pre-season game.
Mr Watts said he was cheering the Reds all the way to the try-line.
“It was a pre-season match but it certainly didn’t disappoint, and this game will undoubtedly set the pace for the season to come!” Mr Watts said.
“The Reds beat the Blues 41-35 here in last season’s pre-season match, so Toowoomba is turning into a real rugby powerhouse, with fans last night treated to a clash between two of the best teams from the last three years, who won’t meet again unless it’s in the finals.
See who was there to witness the exhilarating match
