Residents of the Maranoa region have an exclusive opportunity to experience a big city performance this October, with the arrival of the Queensland Ballet. Tutus on Tour, a production by the Queensland ballet, will be held at the Roma Cultural Centre, on Tuesday, October 4.

Councillor Cameron O’Neil, Portfolio Chair for Events, is excited about the rare opportunity for his community to join together and enjoy a big city show. “A show for all ages – Tutus on Tour will bring a city ballet to the country”, Cr O’Neil said. “I encourage everyone to come along and enjoy a night with the family”.

The performance is set to bring together three separate dance works, including Esther Val, Three Preludes and Verdi Variations. The performance is designed to appeal to all ages, and provide an opportunity for the whole family to attend.

Following the performance, the community will be provided with the opportunity to get up close to their ballet heroes, with a Q and A session offering a meet and greet, and the chance for autographs.

Tickets are currently available with adults from $10, and children over the age of 5, just $5. The doors to the Roma Auditorium will open at 6.30pm, with the performance commencing at 7.30pm.
