Starting a business is no easy feat. It takes determination, strategy, a bit of social charm and luck for good measure. But what about those small businesses that may lack some of these qualities?
Luckily, the Queensland Small Business Week is fast approaching. Taking place between the 16th and 21st of May, this year’s Queensland Small Business Week is especially designed to inspire and educate small businesses to innovate, collaborate and get fit for change.
Five major events will be held in Brisbane, Logan, Cairns, Rockhampton and Toowoomba, along with a further 50 affiliated events across the State. The major events will cover areas of finance, HR and brand culture, digital innovation, online traction and presence, and forward thinking amongst other topics.
O’Connell’s OBM’s Adam Dierselhuis, Club Kidpreneur’s Gemma Alker, Performance People’s Geoff Higgins, Aila Blue & Little Snappers Swim School’s Mai Della Court and The Chadwick Group’s Toney Chadwick.
Queensland Small Business Week is a good start for anyone looking to enter the business world head-on, the event looks to help Queenslanders start a business, stay in business and grow their business.
