Hunter Valley winemaker Gwyn Olsen shares the secret to her perfect sangria, a refreshing way to cool down on a hot summer day.
Rose Sangria
Ingredients
- 1 bottle (750ml) of fruity Rosé – we recommend the Hunter Collective Olsen Rosé 2017
- 1.5 cups lemonade
- 1 bunch mint
- 2 big slices of watermelon, diced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Method
- Cut watermelon and chop mint, and place in a large jug.
- Stir in chilled wine and lemonade. Add cinnamon, and stir.
- Serve immediately.
