More than 100 former Dalby Wheatmen Rugby Union players converged on John Ritter Oval on Saturday 20 July for the club’s annual Old Boys Day event. This year marked anniversaries for a few Wheatmen teams including the 2004 Risdon Cup A Grade premiership win, 1989 Risdon Cup A Grade premiership win, 1979 Bill Flamsteed B Grade premiership win, and the 2014 ES Dooney Hayes C Grade premiership win. The club believes this is an important day on the calendar as it represents its rich culture, wonderful achievements and tremendous friendship. It was the last home game for the club and final game of the regular season for all three grades.
