Spring sprung a little early on 31 August with a glorious day for the annual Our Lady of the Southern Cross College Saints Race Day. More than 500 racegoers were trackside for a day of country class and eclectic elegance. Beyond the marquee and Champagne Lounge, crowds swelled in excess of 1000 with the fundraiser being held in conjunction with the 160th Plough Inn Cup, family and school reunions and an eight-race program featuring homegrown horses, trainers and jockeys.
