The Toowoomba Hospital Foundation is aiming to bring a little extra sparkle to sick children and families in the region officially launching their 2018 Clifford Gardens Toowoomba Hospital Children’s Appeal running from October to December, calling on the local community to support children in need this year.

Toowoomba Hospital Foundation CEO Alison Kennedy said funds raised will go towards the purchase of vital equipment for the Toowoomba Hospital children’s ward and special care nursery. “Every year we are amazed at the incredible work our hospital staff do for children and families in the Darling Downs and we love being able to support them and give the people they’ve touched an opportunity to give back and say thanks,” she said. “Because that’s what the Clifford Gardens Toowoomba Hospital Children’s Appeal is all about. It’s about making sure that the children, babies and families who come to the children’s ward have the best care and staff have the best equipment. We can’t do this without help from our community and there’s no better time to give back and help give our region’s kids the best start in life than right now as we approach the season of giving.”

It is hoped that this year’s Clifford Gardens Toowoomba Hospital Children’s Appeal will raise $100,000. The community can help bring this vital piece of equipment to the Toowoomba Hospital by getting involved in a number of exciting events and initiatives happening over the coming months including: the annual Mylonas Richter Memorial Golf Day, THF Melbourne Cup Luncheon and Christmas Centre Run. Several giveaways and promotions will also be running throughout December in Clifford Gardens.
