Sunrise Way held its major fundraising event of the year on Saturday 15 June at Rumours International. The crowd was entertained by comedian Fiona O’Loughlin, and inspired by success stories from Sunrise Way graduates Tim Gilbey and Jodie Luchterhand. Sunrise Way CEO Wendy Agar said she was thrilled with the ongoing support from the Toowoomba community. “Around 220 people attended our event on Saturday night. We had such amazing feedback about how brave our graduates Jodie and Tim were in taking to the stage to tell their story of recovery,” she said. All funds raised from the event will go towards establishing Sunrise Way’s new Well at Work corporate training and counselling social enterprise.
