Sunrise Way has been named Not For Profit (NFP) Business of the Year at the OPTUS MyBusiness Awards at The Star in Sydney on Friday 9 November.

The national awards are one of Australia’s longest running awards programs and celebrate innovation, leadership, growth and service from every industry and state. Entrants are judged by an independent panel of respected industry professionals and assessed against specific metrics and business performance parameters. The award specifically recognises the NFP business that has most effectively capitalised on market opportunities and driven demonstrable business growth. Sunrise Way was one of seven finalists on the night, including large national organisations such as Youngcare and Evolve Housing.

Sunrise Way is an addictions service provider in Toowoomba supporting stronger and healthier communities in regional and rural Queensland through helping individuals impacted by addiction to rebuild their lives. It is a values driven organisation and are making a difference every day through its residential rehabilitation program, weekly Family Support Group and SMART Recovery sessions.
