Seachange Toowoomba, the latest venture by Pradella, is the latest resort retirement development designed for a community aged 50 years or more. Fittingly dubbed the The Hamptons in Harristown, the complex emphasises style and comfort.
With 162 homes, Seachange promises to set the benchmark for retirement living and deliver high quality and architectural craftsmanship. The $71 million complex has taken many architectural design cues from its American namesake, with wide, leafy boulevards with views, space and effortlessly elegant styling. The complex will also boast two separate resort facilities; the Summer House due to be completed this October, and the Main Clubhouse, awaiting construction.
The Summer House, fitted with white beams, glass, timber floors and wide open verandas, hold a north-easterly position that overlooks an open, green parkland. The new facility looks directly over the heated pool as well as the covered outdoor area that holds a barbecue area, fire pit and a full-size tennis court. Inside the complex is a kitchenette, bar, cinema, sauna, gymnasium and a resident’s lounge that promotes relaxed lifestyle, community living and interaction among residents.
The Summer House and a selection of homes will be officially opened in October for public viewing at the upcoming open day.
