A Toowoomba woman is $100,000 richer from latest Lucky Lotteries draw. While she initially thought she was being pranked, a Toowoomba woman now realises she’s $100,000 richer from the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The surprised winner scored a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot 1st Prize in draw 10436, drawn Tuesday 12 January 2021, and takes home the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000. As well as winning the 1st Prize, the stoked woman also won a consolation prize of $1,000 boosting her total windfall to $101,000. When an official from The Lott reached the winner this afternoon, she explained she got the shock of her life when she checked her ticket and saw she’d won.
“I went into the newsagency this morning and when I checked my ticket, the lady at the counter just went completely blank,” she shared. “She told me to come into a private room, sat me down with a glass of water and that’s when I found out. It felt like a gotcha moment. But they reassured me it was real, it was happening!”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her prize, the overjoyed woman already had several ideas. “I am going to pay off my bills and share some with my family,” she explained. “Then last week I was looking at all this jewellery I wanted but I thought to myself ‘dream on girl, dream on!’ But now I might go back and actually get something!”
The happy winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her entry of 2 consecutive numbers at The Lucky Charm Clifford Gardens, Shop 2-2A, Clifford Gardens Shopping Centre, Anzac Avenue & James Street, Toowoomba. The Lucky Charm Clifford Gardens team member Katie Picton said the outlet was celebrating selling another major prize.
