Toowoomba’s business and community leaders will be sleeping on the streets to raise awareness of homelessness on Thursday, 27 July.

Vinnies Corporate and Community Sleepout encourages all managers, directors, CEOs, and team leaders to experience this silent and unseen issue through a night at Gold Park.

More than 105,000 Australians who find themselves homeless each night of the year.

Homelessness in Australia is a growing problem, with more than 105,000 Australians finding themselves without a place to sleep every night. Almost half of these are women, and a quarter under the age of 18.

Lack of adequate and stable housing is one of the most defining factors between those living or not living in poverty in Australia.

Homelessness is a growing problem and more people than ever are turning to Vinnies for help.

With the community’s support Vinnies can continue to provide assistance to the thousands of homeless people every night.

The organisation’s goal is to raise $175,000 for St Vincent De Paul Society Queensland. Anyone can participate in the sleepout or sponsor a friend. Register today as a team or individual and start fundraising.  All funds you raise will go towards homeless services in the Toowoomba region.
