The University of Southern Queensland hosted its 2019 NAIDOC Ball to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander cultures. The USQ Indigenous Student Association, in conjunction with the College for Indigenous Studies, Education and Research supported the evening. The ball was attended by Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander and non-Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members. The event gave the opportunity to share stories of positivity, create inspiration and hope for a brighter future and to empower each other through networking.
