The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) international students were treated to a traditional Australian welcome on Sunday 25 February. Delivered by the Toowoomba Regional Council and Trade and Investement Queensland, the event included an Indigenous smoking ceremony, student musical performances and local wildlife displays, with the goal to present and promote the Darling Downs region beyond its borders. The event was held at the Cobb+Co Museum and was attended by a large amount of international students.
