Mediterranean restaurant Vapiano will open its doors at Grand Central Shopping Centre in time for the Christmas period. It will be Vapiano’s first regional location.

Vapiano will offer a range of authentic Italian flavours, along with an extensive drinks list, serving craft beers, wines, and cocktails.

In each Vapiano restaurant, pasta, pizza dough, sauces, salad dressing, and dolci will be created fresh in-house daily. Where possible, all ingredients will be freshly sourced within a 150 kilometre radius from each restaurant. The Toowoomba restaurant will be no different.

The new Vapiano restuarant owner, Will Cooke, could not be more thrilled to be opening a Vapiano in Toowoomba.

“Toowoomba is a dynamic and growing city and the Grand Central Shopping Centre redevelopment provided us with a great opportunity to launch our brand regionally,” said Cooke.

The recent Grand Central renovation has brought a host of new stores to the city, including H&M, T2, and Mecca Maxima.

Large oak tables, an olive tree sourced from Helidon, fresh herbs and light-coloured interior decoration characterise the relaxed and casual Mediterranean dining atmosphere guests can expect to enjoy.

Vapiano’s motto ‘Chi va piano va sano e va lontano’ (‘if you have an easy-going and relaxed approach to life, you’ll live more healthily and longer’) suits Australian dining to a tee.

Vapiano Toowoomba will be the sixth restaurant to open in Australia since 2009.
