The Australian Motor Racing Series (AMRS), a national level motorsport competition, is returning to Warwick’s Morgan Park RacewayΒ this June. The event will feature a number of different categories, encompassing a wide array of motoring interests. The series provides “an affordable platform for drivers, teams and categories to experience the professionalism and exposure of racing at a national level”.
Round 3 of the motorsport series will be brought to spectators and racers of the Warwick area on 8-10 of June. A day of practicing will be the main focus on Friday, with racing and qualifying being held on the Saturday and Sunday of that weekend. The series will continue their tour across Australia with Round 4 taking place in New South Wales’ Wakefield Park in August, Sydney Motorsport Park hosting Round 5 in October and Round 6 being held at Winton Raceway in Victoria during November
The Australian Motor Racing Series makes sure to cater for all racing enthusiasts, with national categories ranging from the GT-1 Australia Series for exotic sports cars and the Australian Formula 3 Premier Series, as well as Legend Cars and the Mazda RX8 Cup Series. In addition to these categories, three Queensland only state categories will be added to the Morgan Park competition in Round 3, includingΒ Formula Vee, Production Sports and Classic Sports Sedans.
