This year’s Audi Centre Toowoomba Weetwood has taken a step-up in style and will be sure to impress lovers of racing and fashion. Being staged on Saturday 6 April at Clifford Park Racecourse, there are plenty of options for Weetwood guests this year, including the stunning new Fashion, Food & Wine and Pimm’s Pallet Paradise precincts.

Guests will be able to relax in beautiful surrounds on Clifford Park’s rear lawn area and enjoy hospitality from the Moet & Chandon Lounge, Brown Brothers Destination Bar and Clifford Park cocktail bar or in the new Pimm’s Pallet Paradise adjacent to the bookies’ ring and mounting yard.

Last year’s new function space —the Clive Berghofer Grande Atrium — has proved popular again this year, particularly with corporates. The Atrium is the stunning, glass-walled marquee with trackside viewing, private bar and amenities, state of the art AV and featuring the gorgeous Audi Centre Toowoomba Terraces. Tickets for the trackside Clive Berghofer Grande Atrium — Audi Centre Toowoomba VIP Dining ?re priced at $225 (non-TTC Members and $210 (TTC Members) and are inclusive of reserved table seating, four delicious courses and five-hour premium beverage package, race book and Tote facilities.

Another option for the 2019 Audi Centre Toowoomba Weetwood is the Round Square Marketing Birdcage function. Located on Clifford Park’s Dalrello Deck, the Birdcage will portray elegance and sophistication. With bird’s eye views of the track, mounting yard and winners’ stalls, this function is inclusive of gourmet canapes and beverages (five hours) for $165 (non-TTC Members) or $150 (TTC Members). This space is the perfect place for ladies to enjoy the decadence of Weetwood and overlooks the Neil Mansell Group Mounting Yard and winners’ stalls.

TTC Members can enjoy race day in the Weetwood Room, as well as Lower Members’ Lounge. Another new addition is the Gold Class Grandstand package, where guests will watch all the racing action from the comfort of the James Taylor Grandstand, featuring sensational, uninterrupted views of the track.

This year’s Audi Centre Toowoomba Weetwood will feature a nine-race day racing card, with prizemoney topping almost $1 million (with QTIS bonuses). All eyes will be on Toowoomba, with the race event continuing as the stand-alone Metropolitan meeting that day in Queensland.

The April 6 event will be the culmination of a week of Weetwood-linked events, including the annual Corporate Golf Day on Monday 1 April, the annual Breakfast With The Weetwood Stars on Tuesday 2 April, the Weetwood Barrier Draw and Mass on Wednesday 3 April and ever popular Calcutta Sportsman’s Lunch on Friday 5 April.

The Calcutta Sportsman’s Lunch will feature legendary Australian race caller John Tapp and Queensland Origin hero Brent Tate. Tickets for this event are $85 per person and includes a two-course lunch.
