The biennial Cooking for a Cause event, presented by the Zonta Club of Toowoomba, was held on Saturday, April 30. The event was a full house with 180 guests in attendance at Highfields Cultural Centre. Celebrity chefs Ben Williamson of Gerard’s Bistro and Brent Farrell of 85 Miskin Street shared their culinary skills in the morning session, and local identity Lee Faulkner from Faulks Kitchen presented the afternoon one. As for the food, guests enjoyed a scrumptious morning tea, followed by a delicious two-course lunch paired with wine. The all-day event came to a close with an al fresco sparkling wine finale.
