The 2018 Mount Isa Mines Rotary Rodeo Launch was held ahead of this year’s Diamond Jubilee Rodeo on Thursday 22 March. The event was launched at the Old Parliament House by Queensland Tourism Industry Development Minister The Hon Kate Jones. Glencore representative Agata Graham announced Mount Isa Mines signed a five year agreement a Gold sponsor of the event. APRA representative and legendary bronc rider Darryl Kong announced that the Rodeo would be inducted into the Australian Professional Rodeo Association (APRA) Hall of Fame in Warwick later this year.
