Beauty Effects has welcomed Stefanie Toms, UK Permanent Makeup Artist Of The Year 2019, to Toowoomba to collaborate on a cosmetic tattooing masterclass. The workshops started on 4 August and will run to 7 August. The masterclass demonstrates various cosmetic tattoo techniques on a live model.

Stefanie Toms has eight years industry experience and these five days of teaching are her first international masterclass. Stefanie was named the UK Permanent Makeup Artist of the Year at the PMU Industry Recognition Awards that were held 24 March this year. The awards aim to acknowledge the UK’s finest cosmetic artists, who not only perform beautiful procedures but also adhere to the industry stands of safety and conduct. The PMU awards will stage its fifth conference in 2020.

Beauty Effects owner June Warry is passionate about permanent cosmetic artists adhering to their responsibilities and honoring promises they make to their clients. With 16 years experience, she recommends clients do their research on artists before booking procedures. Her perspective on her industry reflects the prestigious award Stefanie has won and is one of the reasons June is so excited to welcome the comestic artist. “This is such a rare opportunity, we’re thrilled to be able to attract a cosmetic tattooist of this calibre to Toowoomba,” said June. “Stefanie is internationally recognised and this is probably a once in a lifetime opportunity for local artists to upgrade their skills with someone so renowned.”

The masterclass is being held at Beauty Effects salon in Mark Lane, Toowoomba, and has attracted so much interest that two attendees are coming from New Zealand to take advantage of this opportunity. Stefanie is teaching the creation of her flawless signature brows, liner and lips as well as sharing her wealth of practical expertise, business and industry knowledge.
