This festive season, enhance your christmas shopping experience while directly supporting the drought appeal. Country Heart Events is once again supporting many varied artisans from around the region and showcasing their fine handmade products at the annual Christmas craft market. Known as the place to shop for affordable gifts, the markets are a happy, relaxing and welcoming environment.

Country Heart Christmas takes all the pressure out of the Christmas shopping trip and puts the festive heart back in what can be a seasonal chore. Shop and enjoy the camaraderie. Talk to the artisans about their wares, all displayed across more than 40 stalls, whilst partaking in some of the light refreshments on offer.

Hosted at the historic Glennie Junior School Hall on Herries Street, the markets are held from December 6 to 8. There is plenty of street parking and late night shopping will be held on the Friday, providing convenient after hours access.

Santa is taking a break from his busy North Pole workshop and with his helpers is taking up residence in the Christmas Grotto where there will be Christmas gifts for all children under eight years at the markets. The Christmas fairy is also joining the fun, so you need not worry about keeping the kids entertained while you shop.

It is free entry. Raffle tickets are on sale for the artisan raffle with profits going to drought aid, proving the old festive adage true — it really is better to give rather than to receive.
