The annual Hampton Festival, hosted by the township of Hampton north of Toowoomba, will be a three-day food and cultural extravaganza culminating on Sunday 20 May.

The full weekend of food and art events making up the festival offers patrons a unique country experience highlighting the autumn change of season and the natural beauty of the region.

Set in the high country village, the Hampton Festival is a vibrant celebration of local food producers, regional artisans and live music.

Festival goers can participate in hands-on food and art workshops on Saturday 19 May, stay at one of the many accommodation destinations and enjoy local produce through a variety of events and dinners.

Children will enjoy the Kids in the Kitchen sessions and new art experiences, while families will be entertained by celebrity chef demonstrations, live music, the Hampton Art Exhibition, and interactive art sessions.

Chapman Park is an idyllic setting for the festival, with its majestic blue gums creating a relaxing atmosphere where visitors can sit back to enjoy the live music while they taste superb, local food and wine.

From handmade cheeses to truffle oil, smoked garlic to flavoured macadamias, everyone will be spoilt for choice in the Festival marketplace with an array of stalls sampling a myriad of cuisines – plus the ever popular community produce stall will be stocked with fresh produce from just down the road.
