Fans of Lisa Kennedy Collections, the much-loved homewares, clothing and accessories venture of Western Downs resident Lisa Kennedy, have reason to rejoice this month.

Hot on the heels of opening a beautiful new store in Murilla Street, Miles in February, Lisa Kennedy has launched an online store so her rural and regional customers can shop any time and have unique decorator pieces delivered to their door.

“I’ve been touring Queensland with a pop-up store for over seven years so my thousands of customers live far and wide,” Kennedy said. “I had been thinking about launching an online store for a while, and when my usual pop-up fairs were cancelled due to the virus it was the kick start I needed,” she said. “And we are launching just in time for Mother’s Day!”

Lisa Kennedy Collections has built a reputation on the unique style and sharp eye of owner and curator, Lisa Kennedy. Kennedy’s passion for good design and country style is evident, with her eclectic range including charming furniture, divine jewellery and stylish clothing. “We all know retail is tough in regional areas. To grow and expand I knew I needed to get online, so I was delighted to be introduced to the Business Navigator Western Downs team,” she said.

“Just having someone to push me along who’s as invested in my business as I am is great. I’ve really appreciated the advice and assistance of their marketing guru Ailsa Cass in creating the online store,” said Kennedy. Lead Business Coach for Business Navigator Western Downs, Ariane de Rooy said when travel stopped in late March, we knew Lisa needed to be online as soon as possible. “She’s great to work with and has put a huge effort into up-skilling and creating the store so quickly. We’re very proud and really enjoy helping a great small regional business grow.”
