Hosted by Lockyer Valley Regional Council and presented by Lockyer Valley Food Ambassador Alastair McLeod, An Evening Under the Stars promises to deliver the freshest paddock-to-plate menu, abundant with slow-cooked meats, seasonal Lockyer vegetables and mouth-watering desserts.

From grazing table nibbles to shared table dining under big-sky stars and twinkling lights, guests will enjoy a relaxed evening interspersed with the energy and antics of celebrity chef Alastair McLeod. The intimacy of this special lakeside dining opportunity is perfectly balanced by the fullness of Lockyer Valley flavours. Those flavours will be coming from world-class producers of meat and vegetables, along with boutique producers of cheese, honey and herbs.

Once Alastair gets the grill going hotter than a Gatton summer, participants will enjoy a quick lesson in the art of barbecue and slow cooking. He will also host meet the producer segments throughout the evening. The event is a celebration of local food and producers, and will feature live music and entertainment in addition to the flavours of the Lockyer Valley.
