A rush of hungry gourmands hunting for the hottest new food products and freshest Queensland farm produce will again descend on South Bank Parklands in Brisbane on 21 and 22 July for the annual Regional Flavours presented by The Courier-Mail.

South Bank Parklands will transform into a food lovers’ paradise, with three live cooking demonstration stages overflowing with renowned and local chefs. There will be an 80-stall Queensland Taste Marketplace with Queensland’s freshest produce, a healthy assortment of tasty street food stalls serving favourites from eatSouthBank’s restaurateurs, a picture perfect picnic zone, pop-up bistro and craft beer bar as well as live music and activities for families. Now in its 10th year, Regional Flavours’ defining feature is that it is a pure celebration of Queensland — all food and wine at the event is sourced locally from within the Sunshine State — so as hungry visitors meander through one of Australia’s most remarkable free food and wine festivals, they can take joy in the knowing they are truly experiencing “Queensland on a plate”.

The Main Stage presented by The Courier-Mail, Ten, goa & VZUG will be a bustling haven of food, celebrities and entertainment in the South Bank Piazza. Also on stage will be one of Australia’s most charismatic chefs, Miguel Maestre from Network Ten’s The Living Room. There is no need to worry about taking notes at the cooking demonstrations, as the cooking chefs’ cookbooks will be available to take newfound culinary skills home, with designated meet and greet sessions post demonstrations for celebrity book signings.
