Grand Central, Toowoomba, is showcasing teen fashion this month, sharing top tips on how to navigate the world of teenage style and fashion. The two metre tall digital runway screens in Grand Central’s Retail Galleria currently feature photographs from the centre’s recent Urban Youth photo shoot. The shoot features local teens as models to showcase the latest trends and fashion in the centre. Featuring on the runway are Katelyn Stapleton, Talyssa Lees and Sienna Richardson from Dance Force Toowoomba, along with Oliver Bichel and Shanley Randell.
Grand Central Marketing Executive Julie Thompson said that “finding and expressing individual and a unique sense of style motivates most of the choices teenagers make when it comes to their clothing.” Grand Central’s tips for shopping for teens include: set budgets and boundaries but be willing to compromise, find out where they like to shop and provide good foundations such as jeans and sneakers.
