Previously located near Master Hire on 204 North Street, Tony’s Op-Shop was busting at the seams. Their new premises is four times the size, now located in the old Searchers End building, and opened for business on Wednesday 12 April.

Tony’s Op-Shop is a unique store that sells pre-loved clothing, accessories, household items and furniture. The store offers a range of affordable items for customers, with all profits going towards supporting Tony’s Community charitable programs.

Tony’s Community is a local registered charity organisation that supports a variety of local initiatives, including the op-shop and community kitchen. By coordinating Tony’s Op-Shop, the organization hopes to generate additional funding to support the community kitchen.

“We’re thrilled to be opening up to a larger premise, the demand and generosity of the community has been incredible since we opened the original store in February this year” said Tony, the founder of Tony’s Community Ltd Ptd. “We believe that Tony’s Op-Shop is an incredible asset to the community, providing affordable and sustainable options for shoppers while also supporting our Community Kitchen – Tony’s
Community Kitchen.”

Tony’s Op-Shop offers a wide range of items, including clothing, shoes, accessories, books, toys, and furniture, with nothing priced over $50. “We’re excited to offer our customers a sustainable shopping option that supports our community,” said Tony. “Our hope is that Tony’s Op-Shop will become a go-to destination for shoppers looking for affordable items while also supporting a great cause.”

The new store is located at 228-232 North Street and will be open 9am to 2pm 7 days a week. For more information about Tony’s Community and its charitable initiatives, please visit www.tonyscommunity.com.au.
