Toowoomba Hospital Foundation CEO Alison Kenndy and Toowoomba Orthodontists partner Dr Christ Turnock officially launched Toowoomba Orthodontists Pop Up Pallets Project on Thursday 5 April.

Creative members of the community have been busy upcycling wooden pallets and a total of 30 pieces of remarkable creations are set to go under the hammer at the cocktail evening in June, raising money for the Triple M‘s Give Me 5 For Kids Appeal and the purchase of life saving equipment in the Toowoomba Hospital’s Paediatric Unit. The community will have the opportunity to appreciate some of the unique pieces, which will be on show at Grand Central Shopping Centre from now until the commencement of the auction at the Mills Precinct.

Television star Keith “the Forman” (Keith Schleiger) from Channel Nine’s The Block will appear as the official Foreman, inspecting the participant’s pieces prior to the auction to ensure quality control. Everyone is welcome to support this community charity event, helping the sick children in Toowoomba to raise money and lighting the world of the children and their families who are in need.
