The winners of the 2018 delicious. Produce Awards, one of the country’s most prestigious food industry awards, were announced on Sunday 12 August at a gala event at QT Sydney. Fifteen trophies and 37 gold medals were presented, plus one highly commended mention, with each of the State Winners across the four major categories (From the Dairy, From the Earth, From the Paddock and From the Sea).

Darling Down’s own The Lime Caviar Company Finger Limes was awarded a Gold Medal in the From the Earth Category of the competition. It is located in south east Queensland’s stunning Scenic Rim mountains and is a premier grower and supplier of Australia’s native Finger Limes which are unique and ancient citrus. Schultz Family Farms Whole Suckling Pig was also awarded Gold in the From the Paddock Category. The farm has been operating since 1894, with the fifth generation having grown up on the property, learning and living the farming life. They pride their business on creating a natural habitat for their produce.
