Experience rural life as it was in the Australian pioneer days at the Highfields Easter Vintage Festival from Saturday 31 March to Monday 2 April.

Savour billy tea and damper made using authentic camp ovens, milk cows, learn how to crack a whip, and become a blacksmith for the day at the three-day Following Footsteps festival, being staged 15 minutes drive north of Toowoomba at the Highfields Pioneer Village.

There will be a spectacular Grand Parade, and a baby animal nursery to enjoy, as well as live music and great food.

Whether you love history, are a vintage machinery buff, or are just looking for great entertainment, you will have a wonderful time at the Easter Vintage Festival – you may even catch a glimpse of infamous bushranger Ned Kelly.

The event is inexpensive and entertaining for the whole family, so gather up your friends and keep the Australian pioneering spirit alive.

The Village is open from 9am to 5pm each day of the festival. Buy tickets online, or at the gate. They are $20 for adults, $15 for concessions, $5 for children and $45 for a family pass of two adults and four children under the age of 15.

Please note there are now Eftpos and credit card facilities at the Village, and there will be an ATM for use during the festival.
