Audi Centre Toowoomba Weetwood, an annual social calendar highlight in Toowoomba, is sure to impress racing fiends and fashion lovers alike. The Clifford Park Racecourse will come alive on Saturday 7 April, with plenty of fun planned for Weetwood guests this year.

Clifford Park will introduce its newest “jewel in the crown” at this year’s event – the Clive Berghofer Grande Atrium.

The space is a brand new glass walled marquee where Weetwood guests will be the first to enjoy the upgrade.

The Toowoomba Turf Club has invested heavily on the fitout of the space, including a state-of-the-art sound system, furniture, bar refurbishment, dedicated toilet facilities and the trackside Audi Terrace.

Tickets for the trackside Clive Berghofer Grande Atrium – Audi Centre Toowoomba VIP Dining – are priced at $225 (non-TTC Members and $210 TTC Members) and are inclusive of reserved table seating, three delicious courses and five-hour premium beverage package, race book and Tote facilities. Corporates are encouraged to attend this first event in the new space.

Another option for the 2018 Audi Centre Toowoomba Weetwood is the new Birdcage function area. Located on Clifford Park’s Dalrello Deck, the Birdcage will portray elegance and sophistication.

With bird’s eye views of the track, mounting yard and winners’ stalls, the Birdcage is inclusive of gourmet canapes and beverages for five hours from $165 (non-TTC Members) or $150 (TTC Members).

This new event space is the perfect place for ladies and gents to enjoy the decadence of Weetwood and is located close to the new Fashion Precinct.

Due to popular demand, the JJ Atkins Terrace Members’ Dining will return, as well as Toowoomba Turf Club Members Weetwood upper and lower lounges.

Another new addition this year is the Gold Class Grandstand package, where guests will watch all the racing action from the comfort of the James Taylor Grandstand, featuring sensational, uninterrupted views of the track.

This year’s Audi Centre Toowoomba Weetwood will feature a nine race day racing card, with prize money topping $750,000.

All eyes will be on Toowoomba, with the race event being the stand alone Metropolitan meeting that day in Queensland.

The April 7 event will be the culmination of a week of Weetwood focused events, including the annual Corporate Golf Day on Monday 2 April, the annual Breakfast With The Weetwood Stars on Tuesday 3 April, the Weetwood Barrier Draw and Mass on Wednesday 4 April, and ever popular Calcutta Sportsman’s Lunch on Friday 6 April.

The Calcutta Sportsman’s Lunch will feature two much loved Australian sportsmen as guest speakers two-time Melbourne Cup winning jockey Jim ‘Pumper’ Cassidy and Queensland State Of Origin hero Billy Moore.

Tickets for this event are $85 per person and include one Calcutta ticket.

Ticketing for the 2018 Audi Centre Toowoomba Weetwood race day (including general admission and all function packages) and Calcutta Sportsman’s Lunch are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting www.weetwood.com.au.
