Event Co-Ordinator spokesperson Cassandra Hunter said “It is very disappointing, but we have had to make the decision based on several financial factors. This decision was not made lightly and it is not solely based around the new Weetwood date. The drought and changes in the NSW Polo Playing season for 2020 are contributing factors to the decision.”
With only four weeks to go until the last ever Spring Polo in Queens Park, organisers are promising a superb day of ponies, fashion, eats and drinks. On Saturday 28 September, Queens Park will be transformed into a polo arena with two spectator friendly polo games, fashions on the field, the traditional divot stomp and much more. The Event Group Toowoomba’s Cassandra Hunter and Jo Capp have said although tickets for some areas have sold out, there may be options still available.
This will be the last opportunity to enjoy this event, and organisers encourage anyone interested to secure their tickets now.
