Discover your creative side this spring. Escape the everyday and get creative at the McGregor Spring Retreat.

With classes appropriate for participants new to creating or exploring new mediums, McGregor Spring Retreat is a perfect way to spend a springtime weekend in Toowoomba. The two-day weekend retreat offers a mix of visual arts and creative arts workshops including acrylics, fashion sewing, leather sandals, casting, short story writing, upholstery, watercolour and acrylic ink, watercolour and wheel throwing (ceramics).

Inspired by the array of colours synonymous with the iconic Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, the 2019 Spring Retreat invites budding creatives to draw inspiration from the bright surroundings. Held on the second weekend of Toowoomba’s flower festival, this year participants can choose from traditional artistic mediums or explore their creativity through other fun mediums.

Spring Retreat is the shortest of the McGregor Retreats and acts as a fantastic introduction to McGregor. It is the perfect retreat for absolute beginners and people exploring new mediums but seasoned McGregorites are also more than welcome. The two-day event is a perfect opportunity to bring that friend or family member you have been telling all about McGregor. McGregor Spring Retreat will be held on the weekend of September 28 and 29. Earlybird pricing ends 26 August.
