After several successful years, each seeing more and more entrants take part in Warwick’s favourite annual parade, the time has come to take the Warwick Rodeo Street Parade to the next level.

This year sees major sponsor John Dee re-join the party, as well as Bunnings Warwick who are coming on board with awesome vouchers and incentives for entrants in 2019. Councillor for Economic Development, Regional Promotion, and Tourism Rod Kelly said the aim behind this year’s parade is to regain the creativity and imagination of bygone days. “The parade is a long held tradition of the Warwick Rodeo and something that every member of our community can enjoy and we want to encourage and support as much creativity in entrants as possible,” said Cr Kelly. “This year’s parade sponsors have provided some excellent incentives for entrants. There has already been great interest in the parade by participants, but this truly is a case of ‘The more, the merrier’. We want this to be a parade to remember for years to come!”

The 2019 parade will see a few exciting inclusions, guaranteed to make this a not-to-be-missed event. Potential parade entrants can get the ball rolling on some incredible floats, with the first 25 nominations all set to receive a $20 Bunnings Gift Voucher to go towards the preparation of their float. To further assist entrants, Bunnings Warwick will also display a feature stand packed with inspiration and products. Local community groups, schools and charities are all also encouraged to approach Bunnings for donations to help their 2019 parade entries. Everyone is encouraged to incorporate music and excitement into their entry. The parade will take place on Saturday, October 26 from 9.00am.
