Pittsworth State High School captains for 2020 are Lani Collins and Amy Sturgess with Vice Captains Deanna Macdonald and Mackenzie Rohde.

Lani is a passionate advocate of STEM, undertaking the STEM ambassador role within the school. Her acknowledgments include academic and subject awards, the ADF Long Tan Leadership Award, representing Queensland on the Hockey field and umpiring for Toowoomba. After graduation, Lani aspires to study Medicine, or pursue a career in Engineering or Science.

Amy is an involved member of the school and wider community. She has received recognition via a Community Award, Rotary Bursary and various academic acknowledgments. Her Netball participation and passion is also consistently recognised. Amy is driven and dedicated and wishes to study in the Health Sector at University at the conclusion of Year 12.

Deanna is an enthusiastic member in all areas of the school community and enjoys studying a wide range of subjects. Her participation in school music programs have won her many accolades. This has led to her teaching Piano to young students after school. As her passion is working with young children, Deanna hopes to pursue her career in Early Childhood Education.

Mackenzie completed a Certificate III in Business while enjoying a retail traineeship at a local boutique store which has led to regular part-time employment. She is an enthusiastic contributor to art, sporting and cultural events while balancing an academic and vocational study pathway. Mackenzie has a keen interest in Intelligence and wants to study Criminology in the future.
